Dr. Elsayed Ibrahim Salim is a Professor of Cell Biology and Cytogenetics at the Faculty of Science, Tanta University and supervisor of the Tanta University Central Laboratories. He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology and Caner Research from Osaka City University Medical School in Japan (2000), an MSc. in Comparative Anatomy from Tanta University (1992), and a BSc. in Science, also from Tanta University (1986). His main research interests include molecular pathology, cytogenetics and toxicogenomics in cancer research, and nanoparticle toxicology and carcinogenicity. Dr. Salim is currently the Arab Regional Representative of the Asian Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention and a subject editor of the Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention.
