Dr. Ihab Habib holds a Ph.D. in Food Safety and Veterinary Public Health from Ghent University in Belgium (2010), an MSc. in Animal Health Epidemiology from the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Belgium (2006), an MSc. in Food Safety and Hygiene Management from Birmingham University in England (2004), a Masters degree in Public Health Sciences from the High Institute of Public Health of Alexandria University in Egypt (2005), and a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, also from Alexandria University (2000). His main area of research is food safety and public health, particularly the epidemiology and risk assessment of foodborne pathogens. Dr. Habib is currently a lecturer at the Department of Nutrition of the High Institute of Public Health at Alexandria University.
