Dr. Mohamed Elsayed Youssef is an Associate Professor, Acting Vice Dean, and Head of the Computer-Based Engineering Applications Department at the Informatics Research Institute at the City of Scientific Research and Technology Applications in Alexandria, Egypt. He obtained a BSc. and MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University and studied for his Ph.D. in Mechanical Power Engineering at both Cairo University and the Technical University of Munich. His main research interests are in renewable energy and fuel cells, and he was an affiliate at the Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) in South Korea.
